When you find the vessel which you would like to rent you will send an inquiry to the operator. Inquiries are managed through our “Messages” portal on the left hand navigation bar. Your inquiry is sent as a message to the operator. This creates a chat in which you can engage with the rental operation. They may wish to chat with you to ascertain some details such as your age or boating experience. Do not fear, when you inquire about a watercraft a 24 hour hold is put on the vessel so while the operation or marina is reviewing your inquiry, no one else can rent it.
When you receive a response, you will see a notification above “Messages”. If a marina confirms your reservation then your credit card will be charged, the booking will go through and you will receive an email confirmation for your rental. If for some reason the marina cannot meet your inquiry then Docklyne can find you another boat!
